IT system support specialist in Fond Shidna Evropa

The Eastern Europe Foundation within the framework of the USAID / UK Dev project "Supporting the Digital Transformation of Ukraine" (DTA) together with the Ministry of Community Development, Territories and Infrastructure of Ukraine announces a competition for the position of an IT-system support specialist for the development and implementation of the Integrated Information System "Geo-information system of the State-level Urban Planning Cadastre" (hereinafter - MBKD GIS).

Start date: July 2024.

Term of involvement: 3 months.

Main responsibilities:

• form lists of bugs, suggestions and user requirements;
• consult users and system administrators via email, phone, chatbot;
• prepare answers to frequently asked questions of users to upload them to the FAQ section;
• prepare training materials, instructions and manuals for system users;
• conduct educational trainings and seminars on the use of the State-level Urban Cadastre Geoinformation System (system users);
• set tasks for developers to finalize functionality, monitor their implementation in accordance with regulations and technical specifications.

Requirements for the candidate:

• higher or incomplete higher education;
• at least two years of experience in technical customer support and software testing;
• experience with DBMS, in particular with PostgreSQL;
• understanding the peculiarities of the software design and development process, its testing and implementation;
• experience in the development and presentation of educational materials for users;
• experience of conducting trainings and educational seminars for users of IT products;
• ability to structure elements of information systems and determine possible software solutions.
