IT Support Engineer / System administrator / Data center technical support engineer in GMHOST

We are looking for a support engineer to join the team!

We operate our own data center, so only with us will you get great experience working with real infrastructure!

You will suit us if you have the following skills:

• ability to quickly learn new information;
• basic knowledge of server OS of the Linux family (installation, basic configuration of all system services - networks, RAID, etc.);
• basic knowledge of Windows server OS (installation and basic configuration, RDP);
• basic knowledge of tcp /ip networks (fundamentals of construction, switching, routing);
• basic knowledge of Linux software for the organization of web servers (LAMP/LEMP stack - installation, configuration);
• availability of a full or incomplete (studying) education in the field of IT;
• proficiency in grammatically correct written Ukrainian/Russian languages.

Will be a plus:

Your duties will be :

• monitoring the state of the data center infrastructure;
• providing advice to clients regarding data center services;
• basic Linux and Windows administration systems;
• deployment and diagnostics of sites on hosting and VPS;
• basic maintenance and installation of server equipment;
• monitoring of network security.
