NRC began its activities in Ukraine at the end of 2014, supporting people affected by the conflict in the east of the country. We are currently increasing our efforts in Ukraine and neighboring countries to provide assistance to people who are forced to leave their homes due to war. We are looking for an IT Support Coordinator to ensure the effective functioning of the local network, server, email system and support our team in Kyiv .Your duties will include: Providing office support for telecommunications equipment (internet network, satellite, etc.) in accordance with NRC standards. uninterrupted operation of the office. Installation of standard Cisco Meraki network equipment. Ensuring stable and uninterrupted operation of networks, both local (LAN) and wireless. Responsibility for IT registers (registers of assets, licenses, satellite phones, mobile Wi-Fi routers). Implementation and maintenance backup systems of all data of the organization and timely software updates. Update or implementation of global NRC policies on IT issues. SharePoint administration. Preparation of laptops for issuing to newcomers. Requirements: Experience in similar positions of 4 years or more. Experience in humanitarian organizations will be an advantage. Proficiency in English at an upper-intermediate level. Fluency in Ukrainian and Russian. Higher education in the field of engineering or information systems. Understanding of the TCP/IP protocol stack. Experience with mail systems (MS Exchange 2010), web servers (IIS, Apache) , scripting languages (Windows/DOS batch), MS SharePoint, server maintenance, Visual Basic and Excel macros will be an advantage. Experience in internal service of colleagues and training of end users. Knowledge of other scripting languages. Strong communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
