IT specialist in network support in Altbank

Main duties:

• Monitoring the state of network equipment (switches, routers, access points, firewalls);
• Identifying and eliminating basic network connectivity problems (LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN);
• User support (at the level of the 1st line of technical support) regarding network access;
• Participation in setting up network equipment under the guidance of senior colleagues;
• Maintenance of basic technical documentation (network topology, addressing, equipment accounting);
• Conducting cable infrastructure testing (LAN testers, ping, traceroute, etc.);
• Cooperation with Internet and telecom service providers in case of incidents.

Requirements:

Education:

• Higher or incomplete higher technical education (preferably in the field of IT, telecommunications or automation).

Knowledge and skills:

• Basic knowledge of building computer networks (OSI model, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP);
• Understanding the principles LAN, Wi-Fi, NAT, VPN operations;
• Knowledge of commands for network diagnostics (ping, tracert/traceroute, ipconfig/ifconfig, netstat, etc.);
• Understanding the principles of operation of active network equipment (switches, routers);
• Preferably - basic knowledge of Cisco, MikroTik, Aruba, Fortigate network equipment;
• Experience with Windows/Linux operating systems (custom and basic administrator level).

Personal qualities:

• Responsibility and attention to details;
• Willingness to learn and develop in the IT field;
• Teamwork and customer orientation;
• Ability to quickly respond to incidents.

It will be an advantage:

• Availability of certificates (Cisco CCNA, Fortinet or their partial passing);
• Experience of working with Zabbix monitoring systems;
• Understanding the basics of information security;
• Experience of installing or testing SCS.
