IT Project Manager for an international shipping in HR Agency Key People

HR Agency Key People is a leading recruitment agency in Odessa, specializing in connecting talented professionals with top companies. 

A global international company, a world leader, and shipowner, is inviting a project manager with experience in implementing new software to join its Ukrainian office.

Responsibilities: At the headquarters level, located in Europe, initiatives are being launched to update software, business processes, and approaches to servicing B2B clients.  The project manager in Ukraine is responsible for implementing these changes at the local level. The PM can also independently propose innovations needed for the local Ukrainian office. The development team is not located in Ukraine, while the users are in Ukraine.The position is open in Odesa, and relocation and apartment rental expenses are covered.Contract term: 2 years with the possibility of extension upon mutual agreement.

Functional Responsibilities:

• Direct interaction with the management of the Ukrainian office and headquarters departments, including the global IT department, Customer Service department, and Global Development Centre.
• Implementation of new technical solutions that already exist at the corporate level, as well as identifying the needs of the Ukrainian office and realizing them with direct involvement of the Global Development Centre & HQ IT department.
• Implementing changes in the customer service department and optimizing team performance.
• Ensuring a high level of customer service, adhering to company standards.
• Providing and organizing training and development of department employees in connection with the implementation of new business processes and new software.
• Maintaining reporting and providing regular analytics to company management.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience as a project manager. Skills in managing project risks and stakeholder communication.
• Experience in implementing changes in teams and a leadership position. 
• Experience working either in a global corporation or on projects commissioned by global corporations.
• Fluent English for communication with international teams and management. 
• Experience in managing projects in maritime transport, logistics, or shipping is an advantage.
