We are in search of an IT Manager to lead our IT team. This role involves overseeing the department's operations, leading a diverse range of IT projects, and ensuring the alignment of our IT strategy with the overall business objectives. The ideal candidate will bring a mix of technical expertise, management and leadership skills, and a strategic mindset to proactively anticipate and adapt to the future challenges and shifting demands of a rapidly evolving business landscape.

Selection criteria

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an IT Manager or similar leadership role in IT.
• Strong technical background in Azure/SharePoint (additional genuine knowledge of Microsoft 365, Jira, programming languages, will be considered as an asset).
• Excellent project management skills, with a track record of successfully managing IT projects.
• Exceptional leadership and team management abilities, with a focus on mentoring and developing talent.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to align IT initiatives with business objectives and to explain IT challenges and progress in the business owner’s language.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively collaborating with both technical and non-technical teams.
• Good working knowledge of English. French and/or Dutch is an asset.

Eligibility criteria

• be a national of an EU Member State or have a valid work visa specifically for Belgium;
• be entitled to his/her full rights as a citizen;
  
• be physically fit to perform his/her duties;
• have a thorough knowledge (minimum level C1 oral and written) in English;
• no personal interest (financial, family relationship, or other) which could be in conflict with disinterested discharge of his/her duties within the company, nor that of a third party currently engages with KOMIS;
• have a level of education which corresponds to completed university studies attested by a diploma when the normal period of university education is three years at least.
