The Foundation is an executive partner of the UNHCR and carries out programs of providing direct legal, humanitarian and psychological assistance in 18 regions of Ukraine, promotes changes in the national legal base, bringing it into line with international standards in the field of human rights, as well as contributes to strengthening the capacities of state bodies of Ukraine to overcome the consequences of migration. 

Within the project, the Fund will provide combined services based on the work of mobile teams to the most vulnerable categories population, including children, women, persons with disabilities and the elderly, internally displaced persons living in compact housing and social centers. Mobile brigades will provide services in the war-affected areas of Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, Kherson, Poltava, Mykolaiv and Zaporizhia regions.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The main goal of the position is to increase the efficiency and security of the IT infrastructure of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine (MFA), which will contribute to the overall improvement of the quality of providing IT services to users in the MFA. A key part of the duties of the position is the deployment and maintenance of MS infrastructure, virtualization platforms for the purpose of implementing the "e-Consul" information and communication system in foreign diplomatic institutions of Ukraine, and technical support of the system's servers in working order.

OBLIGATIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Deployment and maintenance of MS infrastructure, virtualization platforms. 
  • Deployment and administration of system servers.
  • < li>Working communication with the development and support teams during the deployment of system releases. 
  • Risk management within your function, technical area or project of medium complexity. Identifies risks and vulnerabilities, assesses their impact and likelihood, develops mitigation strategies and reports to the business. 
  • Contributes to the planning and implementation of maintenance and updating of informationstructure Implements agreed infrastructure changes and maintenance procedures. Uses infrastructure management tools to determine load and performance statistics. Configures tools and/or creates scripts to automate the provisioning, testing and deployment of new and changed infrastructure. Maintains work procedures and verifies their implementation in accordance with agreed standards. Investigates and provides an opportunity to resolve operational issues. Provides reports and suggestions for improvement to specialists, users and managers.

PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Education< /strong>

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in computer science, or software engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Experience and skills

    • At least 3 years of practical experience as a system administrator

    • Experience with Azure DevOps, Azure Blob, Entra (Azure AD).

    • Experience with virtualization (including networking).

    • Experience in deploying and maintaining virtualization platforms VMWare, Proxmox (including vSAN, Ceph, etc. HCI), working with virtualization clusters in HCI (vSphere vSAN).

    • Experience with M365, Microsoft Intune (MDM), SharePoint Server

    • Experience deploying and administering Linux and Windows servers

    • Previous experience in database administration such as PostgreSQL, ORACLE, MS SQL.

    • Fluency in Ukrainian and English.

    • Ability to document the work done.   

    • High motivation. Ability to work well under pressure and in adverse conditions.

    • Willingness to work physically in the premises of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs according to the standard work schedule 5 days a week (if necessary), with the possibility of working remotely and with a flexible schedule (according to the tasks and requirements for an effective work process).< /span>

    • Experience in public service or work in public institutions of Ukraine will be an advantage.
