IT Business Analyst (IT Off the Shelf Applications & Platforms) in Materialise

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Business Analyst who will provide daily licensing ecosystem support, interact with the IT team and business stakeholders, and create the functional requirements for projects and feature requests. As an IT Business Analyst, you will communicate with key users, understand their business needs, and propose innovative solutions.

What you will do

• Elicitation and collaboration with different types of stakeholders
• Identify business needs, model requirements, and propose out-of-the-box solutions
• Prepare functional requirements for projects and requests
• System configuration
• Perform simple technical tasks (add extra fields with simple business logic, etc.)
• Test new configurations
• Validate process organization
• User consultancy and support; incident management, handling tickets as second-level support
• Follow change and release processes
• Prepare release notes
• Backlog and task prioritization; iteration planning, in cooperation with the team manager
• Flexera system support and configuration and vendor cooperation

Your profile

• 3+ years of experience in a functional analysis/business analysis role
• Confident in the preparation of user stories, user manuals, and release notes
• Excellent communication skills
• Able to adapt requirements to both technical and business languages
• Experience with the preparation of different types of products and project documentation
• Experience with organizing validation (user acceptance testing)
• Upper-intermediate English
• Technical background is an advantage
• Logical and analytical thinking
• Able to research solutions independently
• Willing to collaborate both with business and developers
• Experience with AzureDevops/Jira
• UML/BPMN knowledge is a plus
