DESCRIPTIONPOSITIONS u>
The Information Technology Specialist provides mission-wide IT support. He/she is the contact person for IT administration (network, e-mail addresses, support) and is a technical advisor for IT policies, asset and data management.
LANGUAGES:
Network administration
- Perform direct management of the network in the coordination office and in the regional offices
- Ensure that standard network processes are implemented at the level of regional offices
- Ensure network security in the mission (access / data security...)
- Perform remote management / configuration of NAS and routers for regional offices

- Provide access to the Internet for authorized users
- Conduct increasing network bandwidth for the mission
Setting up workstations< /strong>
- Configure workstations according to the standards established by "International Solidarity" before handing them over to the user (desktop and laptop)
- Check that all computers used a standard operating system and software
- Check that IT equipment is secure (source of uninterruptedpower supply, stabilizer, etc.)
- Manage email accounts and software licenses for the mission
- Configure computer (email, software, basic maintenance)

Equipment maintenance
- Process user requests and provide technical support
- Perform preliminary maintenance of software and hardware as needed
- Keep a list of malfunctions and keep records of how they were resolved
- With prior approval of direct manager to contact HQ IT department to diagnose all requests to return IT equipment to HQ for after sales service and verify with HQ IT
- Verify that equipment which must be returned to head office, securely packed and accompanied by documentation: invoice and fault description form, etc
User Support

- Provide technical support to coordination and regional offices
- Make technical visits to regional offices, if necessary or upon request of the logistics coordinator
- If necessary, organize trainings on the use of IT equipment for users (use, maintenance)
IT equipment management
- Monitor computer upgrades in the mission
- Conduct regular inventory of mission IT equipment, monitor equipment distribution
- Provide recommendations on the need to update IT equipment
- Ensure proper use of IT equipment
- Update information on the overall Park Statement for the mission
Data backup and security
- Assist in data policy development and implementation for the mission
- Provide backups for all users (external hard drives, NAS...)
Licenses and account management users
- Ensure follow-up on software licenses, e-mail account, sim cards at mission level
- Update contact list< /li>
Supply management and procurement
- Together with the procurement team, organize the supply of spare parts for network equipment and consumables (printer cartridges, toner, etc.)
- Advise on mission ICT equipment standards
- Provide support for technical validation of suppliers
- Be the contact person for suppliers regarding technical topics

DESCRIPTION OF THE POSITION
The logistic Assistant IT is the focal point for IT support and IT expertise on the mission. He/She is the entry point with IT department for technical IT administration (network, e-mail address, support…). He/She is the technical advisor on the mission for IT related policy, assets and data management.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Network administration
- Perform direct network management at coordination and base
- Provide technical support and insure that network standard process are implemented at base level
- Organize network security through the mission (access / data security…).
- Perform remote management / setup of NAS and Routers for bases if adapted hardware is available
Internet Access
- Perform technical analysis of service provider offers to validate the technical side of procurement
- Ensure that authorized users have internet access
- Perform the sizing of bandwidth needs through the mission
- Insure regular contacts with providers
Workstation configuration
- Configure new mission workstations respecting the standards set by Solidarites International before handing out to a user (Desktop and Laptop)
- Check that every computer uses the standard operating system and software
- Check that sensitive IT materials are protected (uninterruptible power supply, stabiliser, etc.)
- Manage email accounts and software licences at mission level
- Provide support in computer configuration (e-mail, software installing, basic maintenance)
Maintenance of equipment
- Provide user with technical support on basic maintenance
- Perform advance maintenance on software and hardware according to needs
- Compile a list of breakdowns and keep records of how they were resolved for reference
- With the prior approval from line manager, contact the Headquarter IT Department service for Carry out a diagnosis for all requests for IT equipment to be returned to HQ for after-sales service and verify with the Headquarter IT Department
- Check that equipment to be returned to HQ is securely packaged and accompanied by technical support documentation: breakdown form, etc.
Users support
- Provide technical support
- Carry out technical visits to bases when necessary
- Organize training sessions on use of IT equipment for users if necessary (use, maintenance)
Backup and data security
- Assist in designing the mission data policy
- Implement the mission data policy
- Provide adapted backups mean to all user (external hard drives, NAS…)

- Carry out regular physical inventories of mission IT equipment, monitor the allocation of equipments
- Advise on IT equipment renewal need
- Ensure correct use of IT equipment
- Update of the general Park statement (mission Masterfile)
Software License, user account management
- Insure the follow-up of the software licenses at mission level (record, renewal….)
- Insure the follow-up of the e-mail account at mission level (record, renewal….)
- The follow-up of sim cards
- The update of the mission contact list (e-mails, phones….)
Management of supplies
- Prepare with the supply team a supply of spare parts for network equipment
- Prepare with the supply team a supply of consumables (printer cartridges, toner, etc.)
Purchases
- Advise on ICT equipment standards for the mission (recommended brand, model…..).
- Support in supplier technical validation

PROFILE FORSAKEN:
