Project name:Provision of safe, decent housing and specialized services for the most vulnerable IDPs in Odesa and Mykolayiv regions">Organization:

In partnership with the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), with the financial support of the Humanitarian Fund for Ukraine (UHF), we are implementing a project aimed at ensuring safe, dignified and affordable reception and accommodation conditions for evacuees and internally displaced persons with mobility impairments, older people and persons with disabilities in the Odesa and Mykolaiv regions.

Supporting the Protection Coordinator in the day-to-day implementation of the home care program and direct assistance activities to beneficiaries.

  • Participation in case management, including assessment of needs, preparation of individual support plans and coordination of their implementation.

  • Organization and coordination of service provision, interaction with local providers of social and medical services.

  • Conducting regular visits to beneficiaries to monitor the quality and compliance of the received support with their individual needs.

  • Data collection and systematization, participation in the preparation of internal reporting and analytical materials.

  • Interaction with community facilitators, social workers and other partners in order to increase the effectiveness and sensitivity of the program to the needs of communities.

  • Adherence to privacy standards, data protection protocols and humanitarian principles.

  • QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS AND TECHNICAL SKILLS:

    • Bachelor's degree in humanities, social sciences or other relevant field.

    • Experience in humanitarian projects is welcome.

    • Understanding case management approaches and basic protection principles (Protection, AAP, do-no-harm).

    • Experience of interaction with local services, medical or social institutions will be an advantage.

    • Ability to conduct needs assessments, prepare documentation and work with beneficiary data.

    • High level of organization, responsibility and communication skills.

    • Readiness for regular trips within the territory of the project implementation.

    • Proficiency in PC and basic office tools (MS Office, electronic forms, online reporting).

    • Fluency in the Ukrainian language (oral and written).

    • Knowledge of the English language (oral and written) is an advantage.

    • Readiness for business trips within the region.

    • Ability to learn and adapt quickly.

    • Knowledge of the local context or work experience in the project implementation region.

    • Willingness to participate in professional development and training events for professional development.

    Requirements:

    • Availability of own PC;

    • Readiness for regular trips within the region, in particular to de-occupied and affected communities (taking into account the security situation)
