IoT Solutions Engineer in ImproveIT Solutions

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the energy sector.

Demonstrated expertise in delivering IoT solutions.

Solid understanding of IT and OT protocols.

Proficiency in data management, including ETL pipelines, and familiarity with big data platforms.

Hands-on experience with cloud-to-cloud integrations.

Knowledge of cloud technology stacks such as Azure, AWS, etc.

Technical proficiency in architectural design, deployment, and operational integration of IoT platforms, standards, protocols, and devices.

Familiarity with REST APIs and their integrations, as well as protocols like MQTT, SFTP, and Kafka.

Experience with programming languages such as Python and JavaScript is advantageous.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement IoT digital solutions customized for the energy sector, ensuring timely project completion and adherence to specifications.

Define, manage, and execute project delivery strategies to meet customer requirements and expectations.

Facilitate cloud-to-cloud integrations, ensuring seamless communication across various platforms.

Collaborate closely with IT and OT teams to address integration challenges and bridge any gaps.

Utilize REST APIs and SDKs for integration and development, optimizing data retrieval, manipulation, and storage processes.

Work within a cross-functional team, liaising with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to deliver innovative energy solutions.

Contribute to the conceptualization, development, integration, and design of complex energy management solutions.
