Investment Manager in DTEK, TOV, Energetichna kompaniya

DTEK is the largest private investor in the energy sector of Ukraine and one of the key players in CEE, which is actively transforming into a modern European energy business. We work in the field of electricity, gas and renewable energy, and also implement international financial and strategic projects.

About the role

We are looking forInvestment Manager, who will be involved in key investment projects and M&A deals of the Group, and will also be responsible for long-term financial planning and valuation of businesses. This is an opportunity to work in an international environment, interact with top management and external consultants, influencing strategic decisions in the field of energy in Ukraine and Europe.

Your duties

• Analysis and support of investment initiatives and M&A deals (at all stages from NBO, LOI, Term Sheet to closing).
• Preparation and review of financial models, analysis of legal documentation, investment analysis.
• Long-term financial planning and support of the Group's consolidated financial model.
• Evaluation of businesses (internal and external), work with auditors and consultants.
• Development and support of capital distribution policy and dividend policy.
• Monitoring of investment programs, execution control and plan-fact analysis.
• Consulting operating companies on investment processes, financial modeling and project evaluation.
• Preparation of materials and recommendations for top management on strategic projects in Europe and Ukraine.

We expect

• Higher education in finance, economics or investment.
• 5-6 years of experience in investment, corporate finance, M&A or business strategy (consulting / Big4 / large corporations).
• A confident level of Excel, PowerPoint; knowledge of Power BI or SAP Analytics Cloud is a plus.
• English upper-intermediate+.
• Willingness to relocate to Amsterdam.
• Desirable: experience in energy (oil & gas, renewables), experience in evaluating capital-intensive projects.
• CFA / CIMA certifications will be an advantage.
