The International Medical Corps will conduct a survey as part of a UNICEF project in Kharkiv, Sumy, Dnipropetrovsk,Kherson, regions.
Please note that this job involves a business trip. We are looking for a candidate who is ready for active mobility and ready to work in a dynamic environment.

The Supervisor will support the overall implementation of the UNICEF Needs Assessment by ensuring high quality coordination, supervision and monitoring of all data collection activities conducted by interviewers. Task includes:

1. Coordination and planning
- Participation in mandatory online training prior to the start of data collection activities;
- Development of weekly and daily plans for household surveys and focus groups according to an agreed evaluation strategy and geographical coverage;
- Coordination with interviewers, local authorities, community representatives and IMC teams to plan household visits, organize focus groups and ensure smooth conduct of fieldwork;
- Organizing logistical arrangements for the assessment team at designated locations, including coordinating transportation where possible.
2. Supervision and quality assurance
- Providing daily supervision and guidance to counters during household surveys and focus groups;
- Ensuring that all data collection activities strictly adhere to approved IMC tools, IMC guidelines, security standards, ethical considerations and security protocols;
- Monitoring of compliance with the sampling methodology, participant selection criteria and activity terms;
- Review completed surveys and focus group summaries for accuracy, completeness and consistency;
- Providing real-time feedback and countermeasures to maintain data quality.
3. Data management
- Control over the correct and timely entry of data into KOBO forms for all types of activities;
- Ensuring that individual KOBO records are completed for household surveys and focus groups;
- Conducting an initial analysis of the collected data;
- Track daily progress of accounts and maintain internal monitoring logs.
4. Reporting
- Preparation of a monitoring report summarizing daily implementation progress, challenges, risks and achievements;
- Submission to IMC of collected data, final summary results, including total number of completed focus groups, household surveys and approved KOBO forms;
- Immediate reporting of any critical incidents, methodological deviations or safeguarding issues to IMC's Mental Health, Welfare and Social Support (M&E) coordinators.
DESCRIPTION OF RESULTS:

2. Final reports on needs assessment.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Experience managing teams and liaising with various stakeholders, including government agencies, local authorities, service providers and community members;
• Experience in data collection, organization, conducting interviews and conducting focus group discussions;
• Previous experience working with children and adolescents or conducting focus group surveys is a strong advantage;
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills;
• Strong organizational and time management skills, including the ability to plan daily field routes and multi-task;
• Basic digital literacy, including ability to use tablets/phones, KOBO or other data collection platforms;
• Attention to detail and ability to ensure completeness and quality of data collected;
•Proficiency in the Ukrainian language is mandatory.
