- provide methodological and consulting support to divisions of the first line of defense in matters of development, documentation, implementation and execution of control measures in accordance with the requirements of the Bank's internal and regulatory and methodological documents regarding the Internal Control System;
- conduct together with units of the first line of defense the analysis of processes in order to identify and assess risks;
- determine the adequacy of existing internal controls in processes, participate in the development and implementation of new and improvement of existing controls;
- carry out together with units of the first line of defense testing internal controls, including operational efficiency testing of key and non-key control procedures;
- form samples, determine test steps, collect and analyze supporting documents and materials;
- document test results and identified deficiencies of internal controls;
- provide units of the first line of defense with recommendations for improving internal controls and control procedures, including proposals for automation controls;
- monitor the implementation of the recommendations provided by the units of the first line of defense regarding the improvement of internal controls and control procedures, including their automation;
- analyze the results of the implementation of recommendations and prepare relevant information for reporting;
- form reports based on the results of process analysis and testing of the operational effectiveness of internal controls and control procedures;
- participate in the development of training courses, training materials and methodical recommendations for units of the first line of defense, aimed at improving the practical application of control procedures in processes.
