As part of the Strategy and Deals practice, the Transaction Diligence team provides services to clients, including investment funds, multinational and national corporations, as well as international financial organizations in the process of mergers and acquisitions (M&A). .

Although comprehensive financial expertise (financial due diligence) is the central element of the value proposition of the Agreement Support team, team representatives are also involved in the evaluation of business plans of potential objects for investment, analytical support in the process of assessing the attractiveness of potential investments, negotiations and preparation of documentation for closing M&A deals.

Responsibilities

On As an intern in the Transaction Diligence team, your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

• Analysis of operational and financial information of potential investment properties.
• High-level analysis of legal documents of potential investment objects
• Participating in interviews with representatives of potential investment objects, including top management
• Working in a team with distributed responsibility, communication and keeping senior team members informed of progress.

Requirements

• Graduating student or recent graduate of the finance/economics faculty
• Good knowledge of accounting principles (understanding the requirements of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) will be an advantage)
• English language proficiency level – B2 and above

• In-depth knowledge of office applications: MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word (Alteryx and PowerBI knowledge would be an advantage)
• Excellent analytical skills and strong communication skills
