DG INTPA and DG NEAR donor engagement and intelligence (30%) Act as a global focal point for DG INTPA and DG NEAR Prepare PIN global DG INTPA and DG NEAR engagement strategies, in line with PIN Global Fundraising Strategy, Country Programme Strategies, and other PIN Strategies Facilitate PIN global positioning towards DG INTPA and DG NEAR departments Project design and proposal development (60%) Upon request lead/write/review proposals for DG INTPA and DG NEAR, and potentially other institutional donors such as DG ECHO, USAID, FCDO, SDC, GAC, GFFO, UN, CHFs, CZDA, etc. and private foundations Ensure proposed projects comply with donor requirements and PIN strategic priorities, coordinate with other PIN units, especially compliance Coordinate required technical inputs with other PIN units (especially the Knowledge & Learning Department) Lead and/or support partner negotiations including teaming and pre-bid agreements Provide long-term support to specific Country programmes

Strategic and capacity development support (10%)

As a key member of the Institutional Fundraising Unit, you will actively participate in strategic team and departmental discussions, and support the Head of the Unit and management with relevant analysis and research
Provide capacity building of HQ and country-based staff on proposal development and donor positioning
