Job DescriptionResponsibilities: SEA Inspection, drifting using a micrometer and depth measurement of imperfections using a depth gauge or wall thickness gauge, thread gauging, penetrant testing and hardness testing.Under direct supervision operate applicable inspection equipment of assigned unit.Comply with all NOV Company and HSE procedures and policies.Maintain cleanliness of work station and surrounding areas.Any and all other duties as directed by Supervisor.Qualifications/RequirementsHigh School Diploma or equivalent is required.Knowledge of drill pipe inspection and pipe handling is required.Prior inspection experience is required.BIT and MAG II Certification is required.Successful completion of Level II PT and/or UT Certification and/or EMI Certification classes, required.Ability to work with others on an inspection line.Must possess self-initiative and have proven strong leadership skills.Ability to make decisions independently.Basic Math Skills (Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication, Division) is required.Ability to work Monday-Sunday is requiredInspector with Level 2 certifications in MFLT, MT, PT, EMI, UT Thickness, BHA, and Drill Pipe.
