Infrastructure System Administrator, ISA (Middle) in SIM-Networks

Sim-Networks Ukraine (subsidiary of the German Netversor GmbH) invites to its team an infrastructure system administrator.

- Support and configuration of the software part of cloud services;

- Search for errors in the software and hardware of cloud services;

- Organization of protection of cloud services from network threats, security audit;

- Support of users and customers of the company on technical issues.

We invite to the team an experienced system administrator who wants to gain new extensive work experience in a western company where IT is the main business (not a secondary service)!

Your tasks will be : and equipment;

- Development, creation and support of virtual infrastructure and other company services;

- Selection, maintenance and configuration of cloud services equipment;

- Support and configuration of the software part of cloud services;

- Search for errors in software and hardware of cloud services;

- Organization of protection of cloud services from network threats, security audit;

- Administration and automation of VMware;

- Provision of primary operational support for users on VMware virtual servers;

- Analysis of problems on VMware virtual servers and proposing solutions;

- Support of users and customers of the company on technical issues.

You need to know and be able to:

- Knowledge of PC at the administrator level ( Windows, *nix, FreeBSD), other OS are welcome;

- Knowledge of OpenStack at the level of cloud platform administration;

- Knowledge of network equipment: Cisco, Juniper, Mikrotik, HP;

- Knowledge of SDN, OpenVSwitch, OpenFlow, RabbitMQ;

- Knowledge of network protocols, routing, principles of building IPv4, IPv6 networks;

- Basic knowledge of programming languages: python , *nix BASH, SQL;

- DBMS administration: MySQL, PostgreSQL MongoDB, InfluxDB, ElasticSearch.

More technical knowledge:

- networks (PPTP VPN, L2TP, SSL, RADIUS, IPSec, IPIP, GRE, MPLS, VLAN, VXLAN, BGP, OSPF, RIP);

- monitoring ( ELK, Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios, Zabbix, Munin);

- virtualization (XEN, VMWare, Hyper-V, OpenVZ, KVM, Docker, kubernetes);

- High understanding ESXi/VMWare ecosystem.

Will be a plus:

- Experience with different types of storage;

- Experience or understanding of working with CEPH;

- Experience of working with highly loaded systems.

Additional requirements:

- Knowledge of technical English;

- Availability on all types of communication (occasionally irregular working hours are possible).
