Infrastructure Specialist in Devico

We are seeking a dedicated Infrastructure Specialist responsible for designing, building, deploying, and maintaining the IT infrastructure using the latest technologies. This role involves supporting and maintaining infrastructure and systems across the organization, as well as managing internal projects. You will be part of a small, dynamic team with a mixture of support/infrastructure and project work.

About  project:
Software for a top provider of repair and maintenance policies, HVAC installation, financing, and servicing, as well as on-demand home assistance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and secure IT infrastructure.
• Act as a service desk escalation point.
• Monitor server and network performance.
• Develop and deploy automated systems.
• Maintain hardware and software inventories.
• Plan and execute disaster recovery.
• Ensure compliance with IT policies.
• Implement and manage cloud services.
• Coordinate with business managers and third-party suppliers.
• Assist with IT budget estimates and reporting.
• Support knowledge transfer and IT practice improvements

Qualifications and Experience

Essential:

• Experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2/2012/2019.
• Virtualization with VMware 6.x.
• Networking (LAN/WAN, DHCP, DNS, DFS).
• Proficiency with Active Directory and Group Policy.
• Administering and configuring Windows 10.
• Strong communication skills.
• Full and current driving license.

Desirable:

• Degree-level qualification or equivalent.
• Certifications: Active Directory, Windows Server, Microsoft Azure (AZ-900, AZ-100/101 or AZ-103).
• Experience in financial services (insurance).
• Experience managing project managers.
• Knowledge of cloud infrastructure management.
• ITIL certification.
• Understanding of regulated environments (FCA).
