Information Management Specialist in Graphic Design (OCHA) in UN Volunteers

The position is located in the Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) in Ukraine. OCHA is part of the United Nations Secretariat responsible for bringing together humanitarian actors to ensure a coherent response to emergencies. OCHA also ensures there is a framework within which each actor can contribute to the overall response efforts. OCHA’s mission is to mobilize and coordinate effective and principled humanitarian action in partnership with national and international actors in order to alleviate human suffering in disasters and emergencies; advocate the rights of people in need; promote preparedness and prevention and facilitate sustainable solutions.Requirements for candidates:3 years of experience in the use of Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop, as well as Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint is required.Experience in managing and/or maintaining content management systems is desirable; Progressive responsible professional experience in graphic design, content management systems, information management, data visualization, product development or related field preferably in humanitarian and/or development context is desirable; Experience working with the UN or international organizations is desirable.Bachelor degree or equivalent in Graphic Design, Information Management, Information Systems or any other related to the post description field.Ukrainian, Level: Fluent, RequiredEnglish, Level: Fluent, RequiredYou will have the opportunity to apply your talent while working for a noble cause.
