Job Purpose

The Information Management Specialist (IMS Officer) is responsible for supporting the Monitoring, Evaluation, Analysis and Learning (MEAL) unit in the execution of various program tasks, including processes and outputs related to data processing, automation processes and preparation of final products. He/she will develop organizational strategy for database management, data visualization and knowledge management.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for data collection, analysis and management using KoboToolbox and other relevant platforms.
  • Develop, implement and maintain data quality control processes to ensure accuracy and reliability of information.
  • Collaborate with software teams to design data collection tools and ensure correct application of methodologies.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports for decision-making.
  • Design and maintain database templates to assess individual beneficiaries in key technical areas.
  • Collaborate with the MEAL team in training activities through data analysis.
  • Design, implement and update manual task automation processes MEAL team and software teams where applicable.
  • Develop, implement, upgrade and adapt the organization's information system to fully or partially replace MS Excel where appropriate.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of internal and external reporting, including data analysis, template generation and visualization of results.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree or relevant experience in computer science, statistics, information systems, social sciences or any relevant field disciplines;
  • Fluent command of Ukrainian and Russian languages, English is an advantage;
  • Minimum required technical qualifications:

o Advanced MS Excel skills;

o Experience designing mobile data collection tools (ODK, KOBO);

  • Ability to lead a team and manage others employees;
  • Flexibility and adaptability to constantly changing needs and responsibilities;
  • Abilityability to work independently, willingness to learn;
  • Good organizational, communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Previous work experience in an NGO is an advantage;
  • Familiarity with the aid system and understanding of the requirements of donors and government organizations is an advantage;
