JOB DESCRIPTION

The Information Management Specialist (IMO) is responsible for obtaining and managing information from locations through ongoing coordination, information analysis and feedback to CBN staff. They will analyze the quantitative data collected to support the department in analysis and reporting.  KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide technical assistance in the collection of information on the number of customers and time indicators based on data received from the departments; follow-up actions required to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
  • Ensure timely and accurate data entry into appropriate databases and reporting platforms.
  • Generate regular reports and other data analysis/visualization using developed IRC forms/databases.
  • Generation of reports on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis (Statistical & Graphic) without using personal information.
  • Amendments to existing databases in accordance with program requirements under the leadership of the CBN Manager and the CBN Coordinator.
  • Maintenance of CommCare, RedRose and other databases, conducting trainings and instructions on the use of the system. Timely updating and adjusting existing data collection tools according to the local context.
  • Ensuring continuous support of Cash and Basic Needs employees in data collection and use of data collection forms at locations.
  • Processing customer data and payments on external payment platform IRC RedRose: data cleansing, deduplication, payment groups, etc.
  • Work with customer feedback team to respond to feedback
  • Support Cash and Basic Needs manager in the development and implementation of regular monitoring and evaluation activities of the Cash and Basic Needs program.
  • Ensuring quality information management, including beneficiary enumeration, in collaboration with the Cashand Basic Needs coordinator and the information management team.
  • Supporting the timely exchange of information regarding problems and needs at locations
  • Performing other duties as needed or requested by the manager.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

 Education:

Higher education, in addition, it is desirable to take technical courses in data management. Experience in computer science and/or data analysis preferred.

Work experience:

  • Experience in humanitarian projects would be an advantage
  • Experience in database development and management, statistical analysis and reporting. 
  • Experience with Commcare, RedRose or similar data collection tools (Kobo Toolbox)
  • Excellent reporting skills and experience using Excel, processing information from the main database and maintaining reports.< /li>

 Available skills and abilities:

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a diverse and multidisciplinary team environment.
  • In-depth knowledge and skills of working with Microsoft Excel, including creating tables and forms, analyzing data, using pivot tables, and creating charts/data visualizations in a dashboard format.
  • High attention to detail and excellent data handling skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated understanding and ability to maintain confidentiality and respect for clients/beneficiaries
  • Positive and professional attitude, including the ability to coordinate and work in a team.
  • High level of flexibility and excellent ability to organize work, meet deadlines, stress tolerance, prioritize work under pressure, coordinate multiple tasks and maintain attention to detail.
  • Computer literacy incl. Microsoft Word and Excel

 Language skills:

Fluent command of Ukrainian and good English.
