Information Management Manager in Triangle Generation Humanitaire, Associaciya

Together with the team, you will ensure the design and implementation of data collection and operational information management systems to support project and programme steering.

BREAKDOWN OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

Strategy and steering

• Help to define, implement and monitor the MEAL action plan related to the Information Management (IM).
• Participate in strengthening of the IM skills of related TGH and local partners’ staff. 

Standards and expertise

• Define the Information Management and Database systems through:
• Designing, implementing, exploiting and developing the information management system
• Mobile data collection
• Databases
• Visualisation tools /dashboards
• Geographic Information Systems
• Archiving of data sets
• Ensuring the coherency and integration of these systems.
• Ensure the quality of data and compliance with TGH standards:
• Train the teams on data collection and processing
• Ensure the rollout of internal data management standards.

Operational implementation

• Support operational teams with data analysis and reporting: visualize and analyze statistics, write reports with the main findings; support teams with data interpretation and further decision-making;
• Put mechanisms in place to guarantee the protection of beneficiaries’ data: assess the data protection at TGH; train teams on good data protection practices; ensure the security of the databases

Reporting

• Serve as a focal point, in coordination with the MEAL Coordinator, to receive and review the accuracy of project data and information from projects and the MEAL team

Staff Management 

• Manage Lviv Office MEAL team (data officers);
• Lead and coach team, and support opportunities for continual professional growth

NEEDED KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE: 

• University degree in computer science specialising in data/information management;
• Minimum 1 year experience in Information Management and/or MEAL.
• Minimum of 1 year of proven working experience in managing positions, and managing teams.
• Experience in the social sector
• Proficient in quantitative data collection and analysis; experience also in qualitative data collection and analysis preferred
• Responsible data management
• Statistical analysis and visualisation
• Geographical Information System (GIS) knowledge preferred
• Experience planning and facilitating training, advising and coaching a team and strong presentation skills. 
• Intermediate English is required
