Information Management Assistant (IMS Assistant) in ACTED

Job Purpose

The Information Management Assistant is responsible for supporting the Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEAL) unit in a variety of program tasks, including processes and results related to data processing and reporting. He/She will develop and maintain beneficiary databases, provide analytical support to the team.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Development and maintenance of databases: - Creation and updating of databases for collecting, storing and analyzing information about beneficiaries and projects.           

- Ensuring accuracy, integrity and security of data.

2. Support for data collection and analysis:

- Development of data collection tools (KoboToolbox).

- Assistance to teams in preparation, cleaning and analysis of collected data.

3. Support for creating materials for reports.

4. Support of the project team and technical groups of Acted if necessary in cleaning, data processing, analysis and visualization of data;

5. Participation in trainings, work meetings and professional development activities.

6. Providing other support to the assigned program team and other teams as needed; 

- Support the development and oversight of the implementation of any vulnerability assessment or beneficiary selection frameworks relevant to the assigned project;
