HALO Ukraine is responding to the humanitarian crisis in the country and seeking a competent Imagery Analyst to support our efforts.JOB TITLE: Imagery AnalystLOCATION: Mykolaiv OblastREPORTING TO: Remote Sensing ManagerThe HALO Trust is currently recruiting for an Imagery Analyst to support its work clearing landmines and unexploded ordnance in Ukraine. The position will initially be a temporary six-month contract with the opportunity to transfer to a full-time role, depending on performance.The Imagery Analyst will process and analyse imagery from a range of remote sensing sources and produce information products for use by HALO’s clearance and survey teams in the field. The post holder will also be involved in a number of research and development projects.Responsibilities:Acquire and process satellite imagery from a range of providers for end use by field teams across a number of platforms.Analyse satellite imagery to identify points of interest and annotate in HALO’s information management system.Process UAV sensor data (optical, thermal, multispectral, lidar) to provide ortho-mosaics and other information products.Collaborate with the research and development team to develop remote sensing capture and processing capabilities.Requirements:University degree in remote sensing or related field.At least 2 years of relevant professional experience.Experience of using photogrammetry techniques.Experience of processing satellite and UAV sensor data for display on online and offline maps and building tile layers for online hosting.Ability to think critically.Initiative and proactivity.High communication skills.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to innovate.Desirable:English language skills (intermediate).Experience using Pix4D for processing of UAV imagery.Familiarity with the Esri suite of products, especially ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Enterprise.Experience processing data from different remote sensors (optical, thermal, multispectral, lidar).Experience using Python or other programming languages to automate workflows in ArcGIS.Terms and ConditionsWorking hours: 10/4 , 08:00-17:00, one hour lunch break (40 hours per week)Willing to travel to task sitesSalary: competitive, dependent upon experienceAnnual Leave: 24 daysNon-contributory life assuranceEmergency medical insurance when travelling overseas, including repatriationПРО НАСХАЛО Траст – найбільша у світі організація в сфері гуманітарного розмінування. На початковому етапі, термін дії строкового договору на зазначену посаду складатиме шість місяців, з можливістю перепідписання безстрокового договору у майбутньому в залежності від показників роботи.Аналітик супутникових зображень оброблятиме та аналізуватиме зображення з ряду джерел дистанційного зондування та вироблятиме інформаційні продукти для використання групами ХАЛО з розмінування та обстеження.
