IFRS Accountant Manager in Galaktica

We are a Ukrainian product IT company Galaktica, which creates and promotes its own online projects in the most solvent markets of the world. Our company, like the main product, has been around for 4 years. Our products are successful, enabling us to grow and develop employees, scale and invest in new internal startups.

Currently, we are on the way to creating an IT holding and developing a new a startup in an interesting niche using artificial intelligence, which we will scale to the whole world. Therefore, we have decided to strengthen our finance department and are currently looking for a talented and motivated IFRS Accountant who wants to grow with our team and influence the success of our projects.

Composition the team you will join: Head of treasury, 4 treasurers, 1 international accountant.

What skills and criteria are important to us now< /strong>:

- You have a higher education in accounting, economics, finance, taxation or a related field;

- You have knowledge and practical skills in the field of accounting and international financial reporting standards (IFRS, GAAP).

- You have at least 2-3 years of relevant professional experience (preferably in an IT company, Big 4 Public Accounting, international public company or company who have experience of auditing with Big 4 specialists);

- You had significant experience in the field of international tax planning, compliance with legislation and transfer pricing;

- You worked with international ERP systems and tools for tax calculation, compliance and documentation;

- You have practical experience in controlling, calculating and optimizing taxes for EU companies, Asia and the USA (VAT, Sales Tax, Income tax).

- You have knowledge and understanding of the basic principles of taxation, taxation systems and fees;

- You speak English — Intermediate + (oral and written).

< strong>What will be included in your duties:

- You will work on the preparation of documents and data for internal and external audits in accordance with IAS;

- You will cooperate with the accountant and auditors and ensure the reliability of financial statements during audits;

- You will work on the development and observance of internal procedures and controls that ensure the compliance of accounting operations with the requirements;

- You will conduct analysis of financial data taking into account IFRS to identify trends, problems or deviations;

- You will provide consultations and organization of training materials for employees on IFRS and its application;

- You will interact with other departments of the company within the framework of projects and initiatives regarding financial reporting and IFRS;

- You will work on the research and application of the latest changes and updates in IFRS.
