We are looking for skilled developers with experience in building IDE plug-ins to join our team. We are looking for skilled developers with experience in building IDE plug-ins to join our team. This role involves developing plug-ins for popular integrated development environments (IDEs) such as Eclipse, Visual Studio, and the JetBrains suite. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the plug-in development infrastructure, design guidelines, and limitations of these environments.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain IDE plug-ins for Eclipse, Visual Studio, and JetBrains suite.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of plug-ins.
  • Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
  • Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.

     

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in developing IDE plug-ins, specifically for Eclipse, Visual Studio, and JetBrains suite.
  • Proficiency in Java for developing plug-ins for Eclipse and JetBrains.
  • Proficiency in C# for developing plug-ins for Microsoft Visual Studio.
  • Strong understanding of the plug-in development infrastructure, design guidelines, and limitations for these IDEs.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

     

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with software security tools and practices.
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git.
  • Knowledge of continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.
