At Icecat, we are seeking to enhance our team with a competent, and dynamic Business analyst .

Who we are:

Icecat NV is the market leader in product content solutions. Through our services and solutions, we enable brands, retailers, and marketplaces to exchange product content in a simple and fast way.

Our services include a content catalog, e-commerce integrations, and Product Information Management (PIM) systems.

Our team:

There are 18 people in a team: backend and frontend developers, QA, DevOps, Support, Product Owner, and Project Manager/Scrum Master.

The members of our team are located in Ukraine, Germany, Armenia, and The Netherlands.

We`re working on a Scrum process, which includes: Daily meetings, Plannings, Reviews, and Retrospectives. Additionally, we have Backlog refinement and Knowledge sharing sessions to promote continuous improvement and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Requirements Gathering and Analysis :
— Conduct interviews, workshops, and surveys to gather requirements from stakeholders and customers.
— Analyze and document business processes, workflows, and data flows.

2. Documentation and Communication :
— Create detailed business requirements documents (BRDs), functional specifications, and use cases.
— Develop process diagrams, data models, and flowcharts.
— Communicate requirements clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

3. Solution Design and Evaluation :
— Collaborate with IT teams to design technology solutions that meet business needs.
— Evaluate and recommend potential solutions for software applications, system enhancements or process improvements.
— Ensure proposed solutions are aligned with business objectives and technical feasibility.

4. Project Management Support :
— support project implementation by ongoing analytics and output verification

5. Continuous Improvement :
— Analyze business process performance and identify areas for improvement.
— Conduct data analysis to support decision-making and strategy development.
— Recommend process optimizations and implement best practices.

Skills:
— Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
— Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
— Proficiency in business analysis tools and techniques.
— Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
— Knowledge of data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Power BI, mind maps, UML or BPMN notations).
— Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
— Experience in Jira and Confluence for organizing information and documentation.
— Familiarity with Figma or other tools helping in the creation of basic functionality prototypes.
— Basic understanding of internet functionality, client-server platforms, and methods.
— Upper-intermediate level of English, both verbal and written.
