Humanitarian aid distribution specialist in Proliska, GO

Proliska NGO announces a tender for the conclusion of an agreement on the provision of services for the distribution of humanitarian aid in the city of Kharkiv suffered as a result of hostilities in Ukraine.

Currently, our organization works in 13 regions of Ukraine and provides: social support of the most vulnerable persons who suffered as a result of hostilities actions; provision of psychological assistance to victims; consulting on social issues; provision of humanitarian aid and materials for emergency repairs of housing damaged as a result of hostilities; providing assistance to institutions and establishments where IDPs have found refuge; assistance in the evacuation of the population from the combat zone and social transportation of residents of settlements along the combat line and in de-occupied territories where regular transport does not function.

I. Requirements for contestants:

• Higher education (will be an advantage).
• Fluent command of the Ukrainian language.

• Previous experience related to humanitarian response (will be an advantage).
• Readiness for regular trips within the defined territory of activity, including to the territory close to the combat zone ( exclusively on territories under the control of the Government of Ukraine).
• Readiness for activities related to physical exertion (unloading and loading, packaging, issuing, installation, etc.);
• Basic skills in using a computer computer and computer programs and Google forms.
• Attention and literacy when filling out information and drawing up reports on the completed distribution.
• Ability to work in close cooperation with team members.

• Courtesy and diplomacy.
• Adherence to humanitarian principles.
• Performance of duties guided by gender sensitivity and zero tolerance for sexual harassment.

II. Services to be provided:

• loading/unloading of goods in the warehouse and at delivery points;
• assembly and packaging of goods in the warehouse;
• as part of a mobile team, departure to the location for implementation of direct delivery of humanitarian aid to the affected population;
• providing assistance with emergency housing repairs and distribution of other non-food goods;
• ensuring distribution and installation of kits for rapid home insulation;
• photo/video recording of the distribution process;
• comprehensive support during the evacuation of the population affected by the war, assistance in moving people and their personal belongings to places of temporary residence, evacuation transport, etc.;
• compiling reports on the distribution and entering data into information and relevant Google forms.

III. We offer the successful candidate:

• A contract until November 30, 2024 with the possibility of extension, which depends on further funding and personal work results.
