Humanitarian aid distribution specialist in Proliska, GO

Proliska NGO announces a tender for the conclusion of an agreement on the provision of humanitarian aid distribution services in the city of Sumy

Proliska public organization is a non-commercial, non-political humanitarian organization that since 2014, it has been providing comprehensive assistance and protection to the population affected by military operations in Ukraine.

Currently, our organization works in 13 regions of Ukraine and provides: social support for the most vulnerable persons affected by military operations; provision of psychological assistance to victims; consulting on social issues; provision of humanitarian aid and materials for emergency repairs of housing damaged as a result of hostilities; provision of assistance to institutions and establishments where IDPs have found shelter; assistance in the evacuation of the population from the combat zone and social transportation of residents of settlements along the line of combat operations and in de-occupied territories where regular transport does not operate.

I. Requirements for contestants:

• Higher education;
• Previous experience related to humanitarian response (will be an advantage);
• Readiness to regular trips within the defined territory of activity, including to the territory close to the zone of hostilities (exclusively to territories under the control of the Government of Ukraine);
• Skills in driving a forklift (may be an advantage);

• Free?? command of the Ukrainian and Russian languages;
• Attention and literacy when drawing up documents about the completed distribution;
• Skills in drawing up reports on the services provided;
• Politeness and diplomacy;

• Performance of duties guided by gender sensitivity and zero tolerance for sexual harassment;
• Ability to work closely with team members;
• Adherence to humanitarian principles;

• Willingness to provide services related to physical labor.

II. Services to be provided:

• Loading/unloading of goods in the warehouse and at the delivery points;
• Assembly and packaging of the goods in the warehouse (if necessary);< /li>
• As part of a mobile team, travel to locations for the direct delivery of humanitarian aid to beneficiaries;
• Installation of a set of materials for emergency housing repair;
• Compilation of documents on the distribution;
• Photo/video recording of the distribution process.

ІІІ. We offer the successful candidate:

• Contract until 30.06. 2024 with the possibility of extension, depending on further funding and personal work results;
• Decent remuneration;

• The ability to effectively respond to the challenges of war and participate in effective assistance to the affected population.
