For more information, visit miovision.com.Position SummaryAs an HR Strategic Business Partner and Operations you will act as a business partner to leaders in the business by embedding company HR strategy and by providing professional HR guidance and support to relevant internal client groups with the objective to add value to the business. Your focus is on enabling leaders to provide best in class support, enablement, and mentorship to resources aligned to our business strategy.You will also support the operations of many HR programs. Your focus is on compliance and liability management, benefits, and HR support with regards to payroll.Key AccountabilitiesFormulate HR strategies that build organizational capability, high potential teams, and increase leadership competency.Ensure the overall organizational structure is designed to optimize performanceAdvocate strategies to enhance employee retention and performanceAssess HR implications of planned organizational changes and manage the changeWorking with leadership, develop team-based interventions that improve team effectivenessOversee and continuously improve the organization’s performance management systemKeep abreast of all new and changing people related legislation including OHSA, AODA, ESA, Human Rights Code, etc.Manage the relationship between facilities and People Ops for H&S and other as required compliance training such as WHMIS, First Aid, Electrical Safety, etc.Educate employees on benefit offerings, including managing information posted on ConfluenceEnsure benefit billing is correct and auditedManage data entry and workflows with Finance to ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll cyclesManage pay related activities including ROE’s, termination payouts, etc.Evaluate policies and programs for payroll impactSkills/QualificationsHR Certification and/or Organizational Psychology degree7+ years experience in the HR field, preferably in fast paced high growth environmentsStrong business acumen and understanding of business strategyStrong project management skills; process orientedAdaptable and collaborative, able to lead and support large scale organizational changeAbility to engage, inspire and influence peopleAbility to develop clear, actionable steps from overall strategyAbility to advocate for both staff and leadershipStrong analysis skillsYou are compassionate, kind, and able to stand in another person’s perspective without egoYou have a deep passion for and understanding of how critical and how much of a competitive advantage culture is for our customers, employees and shareholdersPerks and BenefitsNote: We offer flexible onsite and remote work options.
