Job Description Essential Responsibilities:Experience recruiting in the transportation industry, including driversPromptly source and maintain a pool of qualified driver candidatesCommunicate and effectively interact with candidates to verify job qualifications and preferences and match business needsCreate job descriptions and job postingsReview and evaluate applicant qualifications and licensing in accordance with established guidelines Conduct pre-qualification interviews and coordinate in-person interviews Attend in-person interviews as needed Schedule pre-employment medicals and coordinate background checks Answer questions and assist candidates throughout the hiring process Communicate regularly with hiring managers Submit offer letters and provide assistance, to facilitate successful onboarding Provide weekly pipeline status updates to supervisor as needed Track and maintain hiring and staffing metrics Maintain current knowledge of human rights and employment standards, guidelines and laws Utilize social media and professional networks to identify and source candidates All other duties as assigned Qualifications: Minimum (2) years of driver recruiting experience Previous sales experience preferred Excellent verbal and written communication skills required Highly flexible, with strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with a variety of managers and candidates Knowledge of the transportation industry and applicable regulations (DOT, FMCSA) Innovative thinker able to use and develop new sources of recruitment Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Attention to detail required Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and in a team environment Exceptional conflict resolution, negotiation and objection skills Ability to respond quickly in a dynamic and changing environment and work under pressure Able to build and maintain long-term relationships with corporate departments, key business partners and employees Diploma/degree in Human Resources or other relevant field preferred
