We have an opportunity for an full-time HR Assistant to support our Finance and Human Resource Departments at Shriners Children's Philadelphia.The Department Administrative Assistant supports the team through performing clerical functions such as creating letters and spreadsheets, maintaining Outlook calendars for the team, ordering supplies and supporting the leader and department. Specific tasks include answering the department phone, reserving conference rooms, preparing reports, compliance tracking and various other duties as assigned. This position supports both our Market Director of Human Resources and the Director of Fiscal Services equally. Handles sensitive data with care and maintains confidentiality. Assists the Market Director of Human Resources in coordination of various HR/Community Organizations meetings held at Shriners. (i.e. Healthy Community Forum, Soroptimist) Assumes other duties as assigned to ensure service from the Fiscal Services and Human Resources Department are at the optimum level. Demonstrates effective verbal communication with staff by presenting a positive and polite demeanor at all times. Demonstrates the ability to professionally interact and communicate appropriately with staff, patients, families, and visitors. Consistent with position and level of responsibility, demonstrates knowledge of and application of sound financial management. Performs duties in a self-directed manner with minimal supervision or direction according to defined level of responsibility.
