About work
- Ensure quality planning, implementation and support of all technical aspects of housing rehabilitation project activities implemented by the DRB
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with stakeholders and other humanitarian actors to support the proper implementation and coordination of DRB sector activities
Main tasks in a housing restoration project:
- Ensure the quality of all project activities, including regular coordination with partners, contractors and quality control of project execution.
- Ensure quality assessment, preparation of procurement documents and scope of work, related to project activities
Geographic coverage: Slovyansk and surrounding territories
- The activities of this position are concentrated in the city of Slovyansk and the region to ensure compliance with the procedures and guidelines of the DRB in the field of activity.
- The specialist of the housing restoration project provides data corresponding to regional strategies and are translated into action plans and day-to-day tasks.The role of this position is to provide support and technical guidance to core operations.
Your main responsibilities will be
Reportability:
- Report to the head of the housing restoration project in Kharkiv
- Follow all relevant project tools, plans and budgets
- Project implementation, reporting and evaluation

Ensuring the operation of the program:
- Ensure efficient and effective execution of the program while adhering to the budget and work plan
- Provide technical support and materials for all project activities
Coordination and Representation:
- Collaborate with relevant internal and external technical experts on relevant industry issues
- Represent DRB at meetings and other relevant technical coordination meetingsthem
- Ensure integration with other sectors of DRB activity
Logistics and Finances
- Maintain monitoring of financial commitments and expenditures against budgets and providing timely feedback communication regarding the further implementation of the budget
- Initiate purchases and monitor their implementation
About You
To be successful in this position, you must have:
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, preferably with work experience in the field of humanitarian response and refugee protection in an international NGO, UN agency, relevant ministry or local authority.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional work experience in a position an engineer responsible for construction projects or a similar position
- English language proficiency at B2 level
- Excellent command of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint Proficiency in GIS and AutoCAD software is an advantage
Education:
Specialist/Master's Degree in Civil Engineering or other relevant field
