Representation of the Danish Council for Refugees in Ukraine (hereafter DRB) is an international non-governmental organization that promotes and supports long-term solutions to the problems faced by refugees and internally displaced persons people all over the world.

DRB is currently looking for:

Specialist of the housing restoration project in -weight: 700">m. Dnipro

General purpose positions:

  • Use your technical knowledge and skills to support the repair of damaged apartments, houses and community infrastructure using cash or contracting mechanisms.?
  • Ensure quality planning, implementation and support of all technical aspects of housing rehabilitation project activities implemented by DRB.
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with stakeholders and other humanitarian actors to support proper implementation and coordination activities of the DRB sector.

The main tasks of the housing restoration project:

  • Ensure the quality of all project activities, including regular coordination with partners, contractors and quality control of project execution.

    • Ensure quality assessment, preparation of procurement documents and scope of work related to project activities.

    Primary Responsibilities

    Reportability:

    • Report to the Housing Rehabilitation Project Manager;
    • Adhere to all relevant project tools, plans and budgets;

    Ensuring the operation of the program:

    • Ensure efficient and effective implementation of the program while adhering to the budget and work plan;
    • Provide technical support and materials for all project activities;

    Coordination and Representation:

    • Collaborate with relevant internal and external technical experts on relevant industry issues;
    • Represent DRB at meetings and other relevant technical coordination meetings;
    • Ensure integration with other sectors of DRB activity;

    Logistics and finance:

    • Maintain monitoring of financial obligationsbudgets and expenses and providing timely feedback on budget follow-up
    • Initiate procurement and follow up.

    About you:

      < li>Minimum 3 years of professional experience, preferably with work experience in the field of humanitarian response in an international non-governmental organization, UN agency, relevant ministry or local authority.
    • Proficiency in English at a working level will be an advantage.
    • Excellent command of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
    • Skills with GIS and AutoCAD software is an advantage

    Education:

    Master's degree (specialist) civil engineering or other relevant field. Significant work experience in the industry can replace a technical education.

    We offer:

    Contract duration: Permanent contract after successfully completing a three-month trial period.

    Place of work: Dnipro .

    Salary and Conditions: Will be in accordance with the Conditions of Employment of Danish Refugee Council National Staff.
