We invite to work a Leading specialist of the security department.

General duties of the position:

  • Brothers participate and assist in the creation of all documents related to the security department for the territory and field offices of the eastern region
  • Execute delegated tasks according to the agreed action plan of the security department
  • Promote and encourage a culture of risk management.
  • Update statuses and reports on the security situation in the eastern region
  • < li style="font-weight: 400">Perform physical inspection of all security department equipment, in the regional office and guest houses.
  • Support field offices as needed during periods of increased needs
  • Compliance and compliance with NRC policies, guidelines and procedures
  • Assist in creating security risk assessments

  • Assist in creating site security reports
  • Assist in updating all relevant security department documents
  • < li style="font-weight: 400">Prepare reports as needed
  • Participate in due diligence and evaluation of partners
  • Update information in trackers

Specific duties of the position:

  • Monitoring and assessing the situation of security and contextual events in the eastern regions
  • Coordinating personnel at emergency response and air alert
  • Determine the needs of the department in cooperation with program teams
  • Coordinator support in preparation of Periodic Safety Risk Assessments (SRA) and Rapid Safety Risk Assessments (RSRA)
  • Contribute to update of safety and health briefing package, weekly updates and reports
  • Provide induction training for new staff and visitors arriving at the East Office
  • Help in the eyesecurity measures for new project location, office, hotels, etc.
  • Assist in communication and deployment of systems, practices and protocols for staff to follow and create the safest work environment
  • < li style="font-weight: 400">Support the Security Coordinator in conducting staff training
  • Participate in capacity building as directed by the Security Coordinator and Manager to support internal training capabilities, including assisting with training reports as needed.
  • Participating in or individually conducting internal security audits as directed by coordinator and manager
  • < li style="font-weight: 400">Managing and monitoring the movements of personnel and visitors in the Eastern Zone through an online travel planning platform
  • Generating requests for the purchase of security equipment and of training
  • Responsible for the protection and storage of documents in the eastern region
  • Other tasks related to the department's activities

General professional competencies for this position:

  • 2-3 years of occupational health and safety experience. Experience in humanitarian/rehabilitation safety preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field
  • Prior experience working in complex and volatile environments
  • Fluency in Ukrainian and Russian
  • Practical knowledge of English, both spoken and written
  • Diplomacy/Negotiation Skills
  • Documented performance related to position responsibilities.

Context/specific skills, knowledge, education and experience required:

  • Awareness and knowledge of the context of Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhzhia regions
  • Knowledge of security entities and sources of information in Dnipropetrovsk region
  • Ability to communicate and establish communication relations with various interlocutors, including law enforcement agencies, military organizations, UN agencies and coordination mechanisms, other international and local administrations
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with solid knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook, as well as GIS mapping
  • < span style="font-weight: 400">Previous experience of working with documents that are usedsubject to inspections and controls
  • Ability to manage and prioritize a diverse workload in a work environment that rapidly changing
