Job title: Health Officer Location: Sumy, Ukraine - with regular travel within the region Contract duration: 13 months Start date: June 01, 2024 Purpose: As part of the AID initiative 012832/01/0 "Emergency initiative for the population that affected by the conflict in Ukraine and neighboring countries", funded by the Italian Agency for the Development of Cooperation, Fondazione Progetto Arca, an Italian NGO operating in Ukraine, is looking for two health officers, one for Sumy Oblast and one for Kharkiv Oblast, to implement the actions of "Cash for help" according to the project goals. Duties and functions: Monitor and evaluate the context of health in the region. Collect and analyze information related to available health services; Monitor the needs of the local population, with special attention to women, children and persons with disabilities. Regularly assess the health needs and gaps of target groups at the sites of activity, periodically update the analysis of the health situation and inform the relevant program teams; Support the project manager in establishing contact with local medical services and relevant institutions .Provide periodic quantitative and qualitative analysis of the provided services to the project manager.Ensure the collection, archiving, processing, analysis and distribution of protection data in an ethical manner in accordance with internal data protection protocols and international standards; Coordinate and manage the "Cash for Health" service, acting as a mediator between strategies and objectives set by management.Measure the impact of activities and identify best practices;Participate, at the request of the project manager, in meetings organized by OCHA in the health sector.Required skills and competences:Excellent knowledge of the territory and social context oblast. Familiarity with tools for monitoring, administration and necessary assessment of international cooperation projects. Knowledge of the healthcare system of Ukraine. Experience of working in NGOs or international organizations. Experience of working with vulnerable population centers. Ability to build relationships, including with representatives of institutions. English language. Willingness to open level 3 FOP.
