The main activity of the employee:
To implement measures to increase the awareness of the beneficiaries and the local population regarding medical topics (information, education , science), to increase their knowledge and skills on relevant medical topics.
Main responsibilities:
- Inform beneficiaries and communities about MSF and the services it provides.
- According to medical priorities, provide beneficiaries and the community with information on specific health topics.
- Conduct medical education and awareness activities (classes in schools, churches, community) as directed and supervised by Supervisor.
- Under the direction of the Project Supervisor/Medical Officer, evaluate the impact of activities (using questions, checks and behavioral observations) and report on existing problems, successes and limitations.
- Collect all types of information related to specific health and life conditions of the population, in particular, to identify the most vulnerable population groups.
- Make reports for the supervisor/medical to the project referent, regarding activities, problems that have arisen and limitations.
- Establish and maintain contacts with social partners, including other non-governmental organizations, public health services, who can provide answers to social problems.< /li>
- Keep the workplace clean and tidy, and professional materials must be available.
- Participate in the creation of any materials necessary for informational, educational and communication activities.
Features of the MSF unit:
- Conduct health education sessions for beneficiaries during outreach activities in the villages covered by the "East" project.
- Conduct sessions to disseminate information about MSF, the "East" project and its activities.
- Maintain communication with the villages covered by the "East" project , to communicate the schedule and type of activities to be performed.
- Support mobile clinic teams in communicating with beneficiaries to provide additional information on continuity of care.
- Collect relevant data for quality monitoring care for beneficiaries. This includes demographic data, beneficiary medical information related to diagnosis, treatment prescribed, medication dispensed and patient feedback.
- Collection of routine qualitative and quantitative data related to health promotion sessions, promotion of services, understanding of messages, observation, context.
- Under the guidance of a supervisor, implement and conduct various assessments to expand information about population composition, context, health-seeking behavior, patient feedback, etc.
- In close cooperation with the Ministry of Health, conduct regular sessions to increase awareness and knowledge among the target population.
- Communicate necessary and up-to-date information using official MSF data recording and reporting tools.

REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
- Diploma in Social Sciences, Social Work, Behavioral Sciences, Public Health, Community Health, Nursing.
Experience:
- Desirable previous experience in teaching, nursing or social work, community involvement;
Languages:
- Proficiency in the Ukrainian language is mandatory;
- Operation anGlian language - will be a great advantage.
