About the job
The ICRC Health Unit is seeking a highly capable Health Data Statistician to join our team in Kyiv. The Health Data Statistician will administer data to support the ICRC’s health activities.

Your Tasks and Responsibilities
- Collect, compile, and enter data into the institutional reporting tools used by the health unit
- Compiles and reports on data from different health programs such as Hospitals, Primary Health Care, Physical Rehabilitation, Mental Health and Psychosocial Support, Prehospital First Aid,
- Carry out data processing, apply and update data entry procedures, and ensure that data is collected and reported accurately and timely
- Liaise with and support different health teams across Ukraine on matters related to data and reporting
- Support with data analytics and statistics on health activities for internal and external
- Interpret in meetings and help translate documents
- Plans and facilitates training for health team members on data tools and institutional reporting tools
- Collaborate with other teams for a holistic reporting and analytic approach and support them with requested health-related information

About you
To be successful as a Health Data Statistician in the Health Unit, you should possess the following qualifications and experiences and have the following characteristics:
- Ukrainian citizenship or permanent residence permit in Ukraine
- University Degree or equivalent professional certification
- Typically, 3 to 5 years of overall professional experience, including two years of experience in a similar field
- Knowledge of health management information systems (such as District Health Information System 2 (DHIS2))
- Professional fluency (written and spoken) in English and Ukrainian
- Computer literate, including sound knowledge of Microsoft Office: Excel, PowerPoint, Word
- Ability to interact effectively with data users, managers, and other stakeholders
- Self-motivated with a strong commitment to teamwork and humanitarian principles
- Flexible, enthusiastic, and willing to learn
- Ability to work independently, as well as effectively under supervision
- Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks
- Ability to work within a diverse team and establish and maintain good working relations in a multi-ethnic, multi-cultural, and multi-disciplinary environment
