You will work closely with various teams to identify and mitigate potential safety hazards and risks to ensure that our organization is compliant with all regulatory requirements and industry best practices.ResponsibilitiesDeveloping and executing health and safety plans in the workplace according to legal guidelinesPreparing and enforcing policies to establish a culture of health and safetyConduct training and presentations for health and safety matters and accident preventionMonitor compliance with policies and laws by inspecting employees and operationsInspect equipment and machinery to observe possible unsafe conditionsInvestigate accidents or incidents to discover causes and handle worker’s compensation claimsRecommend solutions to issues, improvement opportunities, or new prevention measuresReport on health and safety awareness, issues, and statisticsMinimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):Bachelor's degree in Safety Management or a relevant field3+ years of experience as a Safety ManagerKnowledge and experience working within a Quality Assurance position managing audits and documenting decision-making streamsDeep understanding of legal health and safety guidelinesAviation or Aerospace industry experienceAbility to produce reports and develop relevant policiesGood knowledge of data analysis and risk assessmentExcellent organizational and motivational skillsOutstanding attention to detail and observation abilityExceptional communication and interpersonal abilitiesValid qualification in occupational health and safetyBenefitsThe wage scale or salary range for this position is between $100,000 - $130,000.
