Head / Project Manager (technical direction) in Tensore

TENCORE is a Ukrainian technology company that creates technologies for the Defense Forces. Our solutions really work on the battlefield and bring Victory closer. We are looking for a qualified head / project manager with a technical direction to work in our office.

Main responsibilities:

Management of R&D projects

• Management of the life cycle of technical R&D projects: from the idea to the transfer of the solution to production.
• Decomposition of product requirements into specific tasks for engineering teams.
• Planning of project stages, control of execution of key technical stages and integrations.
• Management of development risks and technical dependencies between teams.
  

Management of team and processes

• Coordination of work of teams of designers, electronics and integration engineers.
• Synchronization of work and interaction between R&D, testing and production.
• Organization of technical discussions, reviews of solutions and development stages.
• Management using ERP systems and tools (Jira / Confluence, Odoo), form transparent reporting.
  

Technical integration and implementation

• Control of the integration of separate subsystems into a single product.
• Supporting the creation of prototypes, their testing and refinement.
• Participation in planning and conducting tests of prototypes and prototypes.
  

Communication with customers and partners

• Collection and clarification of technical requirements from customers.
• Interaction with partners, suppliers and contractors.
• Participation in technical presentations, discussing architecture and product functionality.
• Participation in test campaigns, field trials, feedback analysis.

Experience required:

• 3+ years of experience managing technical, R&D projects or engineering teams (miltech, UGV, automotive, robotics, UAV, aerospace, will be an advantage).
• Understanding the life cycle of creating complex technical products (from concept to production).
• Ability to manage priorities, risks, budgets, deadlines.
• Experience with Jira/Confluence, technical documentation.
• Ability to decompose complex engineering tasks into manageable subtasks.
• Strong organizational and communication skills skills.
• English - Upper-Intermediate+.

A plus will be:

• Knowledge of testing procedures and certification of UGV / miltech solutions.
• Understanding of quality standards (ISO 9001, AQAP - if relevant).
• Experience in bringing products to the international market.
• Experience work with systems that have strict requirements for reliability, survivability.
• Participation in field or resource tests of equipment
