The Eastern Europe Foundation announces a competition for the position of head of the technological direction for the implementation of the program implemented by the organization.
Location: Kyiv, Ukraine.

Format of work:
Main tasks and responsibilities:
- Search and selection of solutions (scouting):
- monitoring and selection of promising EdTech and AI-solutions in the world;
- analysis of their potential for Ukraine: compliance with challenges, context and scaling possibilities;
- formation of short reviews and technical recommendations in an understandable format.
- Pilot launch:
- preparation of the pilot concept (goal, design, success indicators);
- launch coordination with partners, schools, communities, MES / Ministry of Digital;
- pilot support from start to final evaluation;
- gathering feedback from users: teachers, principals, students, parents.
- Evaluation of effectiveness and recommendations:
- together with Research Lead - evaluation of pilot results (what worked, what did not);
- preparation of recommendations for scaling or retesting;
- formation of short executive summaries for government partners.
- Partnerships in the field of technology:
- building communication with international EdTech companies, universities and AI laboratories;
- search for partners who are ready to test or localize solutions for Ukraine;
- coordinating the cooperation model, expectations and roles.
- Coordination and interaction with stakeholders:
- constant interaction with the Ministry of Education and Science, the Ministry of Digital, schools, communities;
- preparation updates on progress, risks, needs;
- work in close coordination with other areas of the CoE.
Qualifications and experience:
- Higher education in the field of education sciences, social sciences, public policy, management, innovation, digital transformation or related areas.
- 3+ years of work in the field of EdTech, digital education, educational innovation, implementation of technology in education or related fields.
- Experience in launching or coordinating pilots / innovation projects: from choosing a solution to evaluating results.
- Experience working with schools, communities, educational institutions or ministries - preferably at the level of project interaction.
- Ability to interact with international EdTech companies, universities, AI laboratories or partners.
- Practical experience in evaluating technological products, their relevance to the local context and educational needs.
- Proficiency in English at a high level - for interaction withinternational partners.
