Head of the software department in Association of Ukrainian Defense Manufacturers

Our products are time-tested, our capacities are growing, as is the need for expansion and attracting new talents. That is why we are looking for a Head of the Software Department. Key tasks: ● System management of software development for BpAK tarobotized systems; ● Management of the design and systematization of documentation for software; ● Implementation of software integration into products, based on the ECS system or another system with a simple combination of it with ECS (for example, ECS); its value Preparation of documentation to estimate the cost of one license; ● Implementation of code design standards; ● Formation of leadership of software development teams, including hiring, training, motivation and evaluation of work; ● Provision of technical guidance by drawing up best practices in the field of software development and implementation of the latest technologies; ● Planning and control of tasks according to agreed deadlines; ● Ensuring effective communication with other company divisions, customers and stakeholders to ensure mutual understanding and achievement of common goals; ● Implementation of quality assurance processes and standards to ensure high product quality. Requirements: ● Significant experience (at least 3 years) in the field of development of applied and built-in software, with a special emphasis management of projects, teams and strategic planning; ● Understanding of the basics of software architecture of robotic systems; ● Knowledge of project management methodologies, such as Agile (Scrum, Kanban), Waterfall, etc., and experience of their successful application in practice. ● The ability to organize the work of a team. It will be a plus: ● Understanding of the basics of working with a customer and requirements.
