BF "Right to Protection" (hereinafter - the Foundation) is a charitable organization that focuses its activities on providing assistance to internally displaced persons (IDPs), victims of military operations, refugees and stateless persons. The Fund is an executive partner of the UNHCR and monitors the situation of the protection of the rights of IDPs, providing legal assistance and strengthening the humanitarian response in 22 regions of Ukraine, and also promotes changes in the national legal base, bringing it into line with international standards in the field of human rights.

GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT POSITION

The position is responsible for the strategic and operational coordination of the Fund's regional teams, ensuring uniform approaches, work standards and effective communication between the regions and the central level. The role involves representing the Fund in the regions, developing partnerships and working interaction with state and local bodies, as well as coordinating regional initiatives with the Fund's strategy. The manager provides planning, monitoring and analysis of regional activity results, prepares management decisions and recommendations for management. A separate focus is the development of management capabilities of regional managers, improvement of internal processes and dissemination of best practices between regions.

OBJECTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Coordination of regional teams

  • Coordinate the work of team leaders in the regions, ensuring uniform approaches, standards and activity priorities.

  • Ensure uniform approaches to organizing the work of regional offices, including planning activities, managing teams and implementing software tasks.

  • Provide methodical and managerial support to regional team leaders in matters of work organization, internal processes and achievement of program indicators.

  • Perform performance analysis of regional teams, summarize results and initiate corrective measures.

  • Identify systemic problems in the work of regional offices and propose management solutions together with the Fund's management.

  • Support the team-building process in the regions and contribute to the creation of a healthy working environment.

Representative function of the organization in the regions

  • Ensure compliance with the Foundation's mission, values ​​and position in all regional interactions.

  • Participate in public events, meetings, working groups at the regional level.

  • Coordinate the participation of regional teams in key coordination meetings with local authorities, international and national organizations.

  • Ensure consistency of the Foundation's positions and messages presented by regional teams at the local level.

  • Support regional managers in interaction with local partners, authorities and other stakeholders.

Interaction with the organization's internal team

  • Ensure effective interaction between regional teams, program departments and support departments of the Fund.

  • Communicate strategic goals, decisions and changes from the central level to the regions and collect feedback.

  • Ensure effective coordination between regionalwe are teams and program, functional and supporting units of the Foundation.

  • Coordinating weekly and monthly tasks of regional teams with program managers and heads of relevant areas.

  • Provide feedback from regions on program implementation, internal procedures and team needs.

Interaction with partner organizations and state and local bodies

  • Develop and maintain partnership relations at the regional level.

  • Establish and maintain working relations with state authorities and local self-government bodies.

  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of partnerships of regional teams with local authorities, international organizations and NGOs.

    PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS

    • Higher education in law, social sciences, management, development studies or other relevant field;

    • Minimum 2 (two) years of work experience in international donor projects related to humanitarian aid, sustainable development, law and/or other relevant fields;

    • Good analytical skills and attention to detail;

    • Strong communication skills;

    • High motivation;

    • Fluency in Ukrainian and English;

    • Cultural sensitivity and diplomacy;

    • Fair treatment of all people without favoritism;

    • Ability and willingness to learn;

    • Ability to set priorities, initiative and independence in the performance of assigned tasks;

    • Excellent Microsoft Office skills;

    • Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving skills;

    • Comply with the Code of Conduct and Foundation Policies.
