The RePower Ukraine Foundation was created to provide assistance to communities, municipal institutions in connection with energy challenges in Ukraine, which arose as a result of the destruction of the energy system during a full-scale invasion. Our key goal is to provide energy equipment and install solar power plants with electricity storage systems for hospitals, dispensaries, mobile and field hospitals, as well as the implementation of educational initiatives and promotion of the reconstruction of Ukraine based on the principles of sustainable development, using renewable energy sources and energy-efficient available technologies.

Type of employment: Full-time. There is an opportunity to work in the office, as well as a hybrid format (discussed).

Purpose of the position: To ensure effective planning, coordination and implementation of energy and educational projects for critical infrastructure facilities and communities in Ukraine.

Key responsibilities:

  1. Coordination of the team and monitoring of compliance of project implementation with set KPI
  2. Full planning cycle projects at the stage of preparation for reporting.
  3. Development of technical tasks, control of preparation and execution of contracts.
  4. Management and maintenance of project documentation in accordance with internal and donor requirements.
  5. Cooperation with contractors, engineers, suppliers, local authorities.
  6. Preparation of work schedules, control of deadlines and budgets.
  7. Systematic interaction with aid recipients - heads of hospitals, dispensaries, representatives of local administrations, etc.
  8. Monitoring and assessment of the impact of already implemented projects, reporting to donors.
  9. Participation in tender procedures, analysis of proposals, support for the selection of contractors.
  10. Preparation of project reports, organization of meetings, preparation of presentations, briefs, analytical notes.
  11. Current monitoring of grant opportunities, coordination of the preparation and submission of grant applications.
  12. Establishment and support of partnerships with communities, hospitals, water utilities, educational institutions.
  13. Building relationships and communication with potential donors, conducting negotiations and concluding agreements.
  14. Supporting a network of partnerships and building new ones
  15. Planning and organizing strategic meetings and events
  16. Regular response to incoming requests from partners and donors, preparation of presentations and all necessary information.

Qualification requirements:

Higher education in any of the fields: energy, engineering, project management, international relations or related fields.

Successful project management and coordination experience of 2 years or more.

Experience of managing teams of 4 or more people; the ability to effectively organize work, motivate employees and create a productive and positive working atmosphere in the team.

Proactivity, results orientation and willingness to take responsibility for achieving set goals.

Experience of working in public organizations, or experience of cooperation with international/donor organizations will be a key advantage.

Financial management skillsproject, including the development and monitoring of budgets and financial reporting.

Fluency in the Ukrainian language and command of English at a communication level.

High level of diplomatic communication skills and building effective horizontal interactions

Excellent business correspondence skills and the ability to express opinions in a structured manner both orally and in writing, understanding and compliance with the key policies of the foundation.

High communication skills, attention to details, willingness to work effectively under tight deadlines, ability to work independently and in a team, self-discipline.

Fluent use of MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point), Google Docs and others.
