Head of the network and communication services support and administration department in Operator GTS Ukrayini, TOV

Functional duties in the position (list of functions, main tasks)

1. Management of technical personnel by direction. 

2. Development and implementation of networks and communications support strategies. 

3. Design and management of the Company's network topology. 

4. Ensuring network and data security. 

5. Monitoring and solving technical problems. 

6. Management of departmental budget and hardware and software costs. 

7. Support, support, backup and recovery of information network and telecommunications services

8. Cooperation with communication operators and subcontractors

9. Organization of preparation of plans for repair, maintenance of network equipment and services

10. Participation in the preparation of the technical section of the documentation, specifications for the procurement procedure of goods, works and services

2 Special knowledge, skills (additional education, knowledge of a foreign language, computer programs, availability of certificates, participation in specific projects, etc.)

1. Understanding of basic network principles, working with various equipment (routers, switches, firewalls), protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), Switching technologies: VLAN, ACL, STP, QoS, Link-aggregation, vPC, SPAN, vDC; Routing: static, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, route maps, NAT; Redundancy: SLA, HSRP, GLBP, HA; Wi-Fi; Access control systems tacacs (ISE\ACS). 

2. Knowledge of network and data security threats and measures (firewalls, VPN, encryption, intrusion prevention). 

3. Ability to plan, implement and manage projects in the field of networks and communications. 

4. Ability to solve technical problems, provide support and advice to personnel. 

5. Ability to lead a team, develop and motivate staff, make strategic decisions. 

6. Ability to communicate clearly with colleagues and other departments, understand business needs and be able to explain complex technical aspects to non-technical staff. 

7. Ability to analyze network problems and find effective solutions. 

8. Ability to prioritize tasks and allocate resources effectively.
