The specialist will be involved in 

• developing the planning system in the infrastructure rehabilitation projects, 
• planning, tracking and timely reporting on interim and results, 
• maintaining constant communication with regional chapters in selected regions of Ukraine, 
• assisting in conducting qualitative and quantitative research according to the methodology and participating in writing reports. 

Construction objects: public places, hospitals, rehabilitation centers, and infrastructure objects throughout Ukraine.

Essential Tasks: 

•  Participation in the preparation of new objects;
• Monitoring the project implementation schedule;
• Preparation of specifications for contractors;
• Preparation of tender documentation;
• Participation in the preparation and approval of contracts of contracting organizations for construction;
• Verification of commercial offers;
• Control of construction progress, the quality of construction and installation works, as well as the quality of materials, products, constructions of approved design and estimate documentation, working drawings, construction norms and rules, standards, technical conditions, labor protection norms;
• Participating in solving issues about making changes to projects;
• Participation in the work of commissions for acceptance of construction objects and commissioning;
• Organization of work on the inspection of buildings and structures in order to ensure timely and high-quality repair work, as well as to prevent the occurrence of emergency situations;
• Analysis of the need for repair and other operational works;
• Organization of uninterrupted, reliable and technically correct operation of buildings and premises.

Requirements 

• Higher technical education; 
• Possession of a valid certificate of technical supervision engineer CC1
• Knowledge ofthe regulatory framework, estimates, and legislation;
• Work experience in construction/reconstruction / technical re-equipment of public and/or industrial infrastructure facilities - at least 5 years;
• Experience working with engineering networks (HV, WS, EL);
• Work experience in local or international humanitarian organizations
• Experience of participation in tender purchases;
• Experience working with budget customers;
• Experience in managing several projects simultaneously at different stages;
• Knowledge of the procedure for developing and executing design and estimate documentation;
• Excellent research, analytical, organisational and communication skills
• Work with design documentation (reading drawings, independent development of technical solutions and calculation of the cost of work on current repairs of buildings and structures);
• Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, AVK, databases, e-mail, AutoCad, other specialized programs); 
• Ukrainian language proficiency
• English language proficiency at B1, B2 level.
