Head of the Information Security Department in VPF, DU

Company DU "Open Public Finances" is the sole developer and administrator of a single web portal of open public funds (https://www.spending.gov.ua) and the "Budget for Citizens" portal (https://www.openbudget.gov.ua)

This is a team of cool developers of IT services and systems support for the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine.

We currently have an open position head of the information security department.

Our future colleague has:

• Experience in the field of information security in similar positions from 2 years (including management experience in large organizations);
• Experience in the field of inventory and classification of information;
• Practical experience of conducting IS audits (development of questionnaires, interviews of officials, development of a report, etc.);
• Practical experience in the development of organizational and regulatory and regulatory documentation in the field of IS and implementation of processes;
• li>Experience in the organization of the IT risk management process and vulnerability analysis;
• In-depth knowledge of the use of cyber security systems: SIEM, DLP, EDR/XDR, IDS/IPS, security systems of switching networks, infrastructure systems, systems production management and enterprise management (class ERP, CRM, etc.);
• Higher education in the field of information security, computer science or related fields;
• Ability to develop strategic plans for information security security, taking into account current and future threats;
• Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders, including company management, IT professionals and other employees;
• Ability to analyze complex technical problems and determine their strategies solution;
• Leading and motivating the information security team are important aspects of the CISO's work;
• Understanding legislation and regulations in the field of information security, cybersecurity;
• Knowledge and understanding international standards and IT/IS approaches (ISO 27001, Cobit, ITIL, PCI DSS, NIST, GDPR, etc.).

Will be a plus

• Security certification such as CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) (preferred).
• Strategic thinking : Ability to develop strategic information security plans, taking into account current and future threats.
• Communication skills: Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders, including company management, IT professionals, and other employees.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex technical problems and identify strategies to solve them

What will be necessary to do:

• Participate in work to ensure the security of the information space and information resources (information with limited access, open information) against threats of unauthorized disclosure (leakage) and violation of information availability.
• To participate in measures to monitor the information space subject to protection, with the aim of detecting information attacks, determining their object, and applying appropriate neutralization measures in a timely manner.
• Control compliance with restricted access information, including that assigned to personal data.
• Development and support of the Information Security Policy
• Assessment and analysis of information security risks
• Participation in information security status checks.
