Purpose of the position: The head of the Department of Health Promotion and Disease Prevention manages the Department's activities, organizes and coordinates the work of employees. Participates in the preparation of internal documents and proposals to the management of the NC TCHHU on issues that belong to the Department's competence. Submission of proposals to the management of the Department regarding the structure, staffing, personnel decisions, incentives and charges of employees is part of his duties. The head develops and submits job instructions for approval, ensures a favorable psychological climate and proper working conditions, organizes the improvement of professional qualifications of employees. Interacts with external organizations on specific issues, implements and controls the mechanisms for the performance of the Department's functions, is responsible for the distribution of responsibilities and prevention of conflicts of interest. Ensures that employees are informed about changes in legislation and internal documents of the NC TCHU. Notifies management of known violations or risks that may harm the organization. Monitors employees' compliance with the requirements of current legislation and regulatory acts of the National Committee of the Republic of Tajikistan.

Main duties:

· Develop and implement comprehensive health promotion and disease prevention programs in accordance with the organization's mission and goals.

· Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to identify community health and disease prevention needs.

lead projects, including budgeting, resource allocation, and monitoring progress and results.

· Provide technical guidance and support to field staff and volunteers participating in health promotion and disease prevention activities.

· Coordinate work with government agencies, NGOs, and other stakeholders to ensure efficient use of resources and achieving maximum impact.

· Conduct regular analysis and evaluation to determine the effectiveness of interventions and identify areas for improvement.

· Ensure compliance with appropriate policies, protocols and ethical standards in all health promotion and disease prevention activities

Requirements for the candidate:

Higher education (educational degree: specialist, master)

Work experience in the profession from 3 years

Work experience in a humanitarian organization/NGO

Work experience in project activities

Experience in program development, implementation and evaluation

cooperation with stakeholders at different levels

· Deep understanding of principles of public health, epidemiology and health promotion strategy

· Possession of data analysis and interpretation skills, ability to use the obtained results for decision-making

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively

Computer skills (Microsoft Office suite, mail)

Ability to plan time effectively

· Confident command of the English language will be an advantage
