Head of the fish and seafood department in Retail Group

Retail Group is Ukraine's leading trade holding with 25 years of experience in retail, which manages the "Welmart", "Velika Kyshenya" and "VK Express" chains. The holding includes 59 stores with a total area of ​​more than 160,000 square meters, which serve more than 80 million customers every year. The staff has more than 5,500 employees. The holding also includes shopping center chains - "Equator", "Multipark", "Turbina" and the security company "Bayard 9".

We invite to the team Head of the "Fish and Seafood" department, who will be responsible for purchases, category development and financial results of the department.

Main duties:

• Management by the category "Fish and seafood" (fresh, chilled, frozen).
• Formation and implementation of the procurement strategy of the category.
• Negotiations with suppliers, conclusion of contracts, control of conditions.
• Management of assortment, pricing and promotional activities.
• Analysis of P&L of the category, margin, turnover and write-offs.
• Interaction with logistics, quality, commercial and operational divisions.
• Team management.

Candidate requirements:

• Experience in procurement / category management (FMCG, retail).
• Practical experience working with the fish category or related food categories.
• Understanding the market, suppliers and product specifics.
• Sound financial analysis skills (P&L, margin, turnover).
• Experience in negotiation and contract management.
• Analytical thinking, systematic, result-oriented.
